We hike not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.

What can you expect from the weekend?

The 2 days Hiking & Coaching Retreat will offer you one of the nicest hikes in Switzerland with stunning landscapes and delicious local food but also real adventure, endurance, sweat, human connection with other likeminded people, self-reflection through coaching, and quality time for yourself.

This weekend is all about YOU. About you having a fulfilling time experiencing the simplicity of life, the power of the present moment and learning about yourself.

Since hiking in the mountains is never just about hiking but touches on physical, mental and emotional aspects, it is the perfect opportunity to take a deeper look at ourself and reconnect with our deeper-self. Coaching will allow and support you in that process. A group coaching session and drawing exercise is planned on the first evening where we will dig into creating our ideal future using the strength of our past. On top of the different mindfulness group activities, one private (60min) coaching session via zoom (to be scheduled after the retreat) is part of the experience and process to accompany you on your self-development's path and growth.

“In order to feel something special, priceless, you don’t have to jump over yourself, the most important experience is to feel yourself.”

What makes those 2 days so special?

  • Lots of scenic variety, grandiose views and a night in a mountain hut ranked by the National Geographic as one of the 225 world’s most amazing places.

  • Great energy sharing an experience with other likeminded people.

  • Collection of coaching exercises to take home with you.

  • Exclusive 60 min private coaching session on zoom to be scheduled after the trip.

  • Diversity of activities: hiking, coaching group, meditation, yoga, swimming and journaling.

Hiking Details

First Day:

Wasserauen - Seealpsee - Äscher - Ebenalp

Medium | 3.11 h | 7 km | ↑ 859 m. ↓ 140 m

The mountain hike from Wasserauen up to the Ebenalp allows for magnificent insights into this fascinating hiking region. After a first ascent, the picturesque Seealpsee will be reached. Behind it is the mighty Säntis. The undisputed highlight of the tour is the mountain restaurant at the top of the Äscher (where we will stay overnight). In an extremely daring construction method, the pub was glued to the foot of a 100 meter high vertical rock band. The small Wildkirchli with its altar cave and the cave passage to the Ebenalp - a real must-see!

Caution! There are two slightly steeper but short ascents to be mastered, each of which is followed by longer sections at the same height. Hiking shoes with non-slip soles, sure-footedness and a head for heights are essential.

Second Day:

Ebenalp - Schäfler - Seealpsee - Wasserauen

Medium | 5.10 h |  11.6 km | ↑ 470 ↓ 1056

This moderately difficult route is the most popular short mountain tour from the Ebenalp mountain station. An easily walkable mountain path leads along the Zisler, slightly uphill to Alp Chlus. Then on a long zigzag path to the Schäfler at 1924 m above sea level. M. The summit restaurant and a wonderful panoramic view of the Mittelland and the Alpstein chain await you here. The way back leads via the same route or the variant via Aescher and down to the car in Wasserauen. A fantastic panoramic view of the highest mountains of the Alpstein awaits, from the Pilatus via Napf and Feldberg to the Zugspitze and far beyond Lake Constance.

Accomodation Aescher Berghaus

The Äscher mountain guesthouse nestles at an altitude of around 1,587 meters on the rock face of the Ebenalp in the Alpstein. It was built in 1884 in the canton of Appenzell and is one of the oldest mountain inns in Switzerland. At the Aescher you will be able to experience  simplicity like back in the days. In the morning you'll be served a delicious breakfast, which you can enjoy on the terrace with a delightful panorama in fine weather. You will be able to taste a local and honest cuisine, which goes back to the local specialties and traditions. The staff at the Aescher work closely with local producers and do their best in obtaining the cultural heritage of the alps.

The room will be a common room for the whole group but reserved exclusively for us. There are 12 sleeping places and we will be a maximum of 8 people to have enough space around us. Please bring your own sleeping bag. If you do not want to take yours, one can be rented there for 5 CHF (they only have 5 available). The beds will be prepared with pillows, sheets and woolen blankets.

No shower in the accommodation but we will try to swim in the Seealpsee – which is more fun anyway. 😊 Due to the altitude, it can get cold (even in summer) as soon as the sun has gone. It's best to bring something warm and cosy for the evening and night, as the house is not heated.

“Dear Sabrina,
I would like to thank you again for this wonderful, fantastic, adventurous and unforgettable weekend in beautiful Switzerland.
Thank you for your loving, positive and warm manner and your entire well-structured organization for this valuable time in the Swiss mountains. I enjoyed these special days with you dear Sabrina to the fullest. I was able to let my soul dangle, recharge my batteries and get many valuable impulses through your coaching.
As you have already written, I have actually been able to experience the healing power of these breathtaking mountains and this wonderful and valuable nature, which has been particularly good for me after the difficult time of the past few months.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this weekend to anyone who wants to recharge and get new strength and impulses, wants to face a challenge and simply wants to experience an unforgettable, unique and fantastic time with a lovely and warm person. All the best.”

About me

Hi, I am Sabrina.

Passionate about people, cultures and languages I have always known I wanted to have the human being at the center of my work. After several years helping expatriates to settle down in Germany, I realised that working with people on the organisational level was not fulfilling enough anymore but that I also wanted to have "emotions" be part of my daily job. This is how I became a Life Coach and I feel blessed today to be able to support so many wonderful people to take their life into the direction they want and transform their relationships in ways they never thought possible.

Next to coaching I am also a nature and sport lover. Born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland I am excited to bring you with me to my country and allow you to discover the Swiss mountains, which have been a big part of my childhood where me and my siblings were hiking with our parents during weekends.

In Stuttgart for 14 years now, I love everything that relates to well-being and health. Physical as well as emotional health. I live according to the principles that both the mind and the body need to be healthy to feel well.

I am curious about every new soul which comes into my life and cannot wait to get to know you and share those 2 days along with you in the most beautiful surroundings.
